What can i say about Matt to convey just how brilliant he is?! From the initial conversation, to receiving our photos of our amazing day, Matt had been amazing from start to finish! Our engagement shoot with him was amazing, he totally put us at ease, was chilled out, great fun and incredibly easy to get on with, he even tolerated our very bouncy 8 month old labrador, and managed to get some amazing shots of him too!

On our wedding day, when Matt turned up at bridal prep ( where 10 girls were getting ready) it was like greeting an old friend, he blended in seamlessly and we quickly forgot he was there, Throughout the day Matt was around but never in your face. We had so many comments from the guests about how he just blended in, chatting to people easily and generally putting them at ease.

The photos we have received clearly show just how AROUND he was- how he has managed to achieve some of the shots he has without really being up close- he must just be a genius! From our first contact with Matt, right up to receiving the photos from our special day, Matt has been great. Matt is incredibly organised and professional which instantly put us at ease and from our initial contact we felt very comfortable around Matt and had confidence in his abilities.

Before, during and after the wedding Matt was in regular contact with us, sharing ideas and useful hints and tips to help us to get the most out of our photos. This made everything so easy and the whole process was a pleasure knowing we could relax as Matt had everything under control!

Always prompt and professional, Matt made us and all of our guests feel completely at ease and he captured everything we wanted from our day and more. Even if this required Matt to give a rendition or two of ‘baby shark’ to encourage some of the children to smile for a photo! Many of our guests commented on how well Matt blended into our day and how comfortable they felt around him. We hardly knew he was there most of the time. You can see this in our photos, which are incredibly natural with Matt capturing some amazing images whilst being discreet and not interrupting the day.

On our wedding day, Matt was brilliant and knew exactly how to get the best shot. He had spent some time ahead of the day speaking with our venue to get a good understanding of the grounds and where to get the best pictures. To make sure we spent time with our guests and enjoyed our day, as well as capturing some great pictures, Matt took us out for photos in short bursts throughout the day to different parts of the venues grounds, which worked perfectly. Not only did it give us great photos but it also gave us the opportunity to spend some time together before joining the rest of our guests back at the venue.

The pictures Matt took were absolutely beautiful with a great mix of formal and relaxed which captured the essence of the day perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble; in fact Matt did not stop all day. We had no idea we'd get to see the photos so quickly and they are absolutely incredible. There are so many photos, we keep going through them and it feels like we notice something different every time we look at them. There are so many details that Matt picked up on that we would have forgotten, he really did manage to capture every aspect of our day perfectly. We are so pleased that we chose Matt to photograph our day and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for someone to capture a memorable moment in their lives.

In amongst the excitement of organising your wedding, I think it’s really important to remember that although the decorations/favours/music/stationary are all things that will make the celebrations beautiful for the day, your photographer should capture images of you and your loved ones that can be treasured forever. It’s a really important element to get right, so you need to find a photographer you can trust to deliver & there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Matt is your man!Having read the previous reviews on this page, there is definitely a theme in what people think about Matt; polite, professional, organised, calm, thoughtful and extremely talented.’ He really is ALL of these things and you really should use him!His communication from the outset was clear and prompt and, as well as answering our questions, he asked us about the shots we’d like capturing and set out a clear timeline for the day so we knew exactly what to expect. What can I say other than that Matt was brilliant! From the moment I saw his previous work I knew he would be the best photographer for our day and he went above and beyond my expectations. He made me and my husband feel at ease right from the moment we met him, was incredibly prompt with responses and clear too. He worked well with my mother (an ex-photographer) and was an amazing presence on the day. Matt is very patient and easy going and very skilled at his job. An amazing photographer was always a priority for me, however my husband was so uncomfortable in front of the camera. After hours of searching various photographers portfolios, we found Matt's. In every photo everyone looked comfortable, and the mix with natural shots really appealed to us. We had a call with Matt and within 2 minutes we knew he would be the perfect fit for us. He was the first photographer I spoke to that really listened to not just what we wanted but our concerns also.

Fast forward to our wedding day, Matt was highly organised and ensured we had all pictures we wanted. He was fully flexible and we had 2 20 minute couple photos with him, one on arrival at the reception and one at sunset. At no point did we feel that we were gone for ages but we still have many beautiful couple photos now. On our day Matt was everywhere but invisible and captured every happy and emotional moment beautifully. Matt massively over-delivered for us, we have near 900 photos of our day and every single one is beautiful!

Matt also got us our photos back within three weeks and went the extra mile on delivery providing some extras that really made seeing our pictures a very special experience. I cant emphasis enough just how fantastic Matt is and having him as our photographer was absolutely the best decision that we could have made. Matt's talents are boundless and I honestly don’t believe you could find a better photographer to capture one of the most significant moments in your life.
