I'm Matt, I’m a dad of a crazy little 3 yr old and new baby girl and i love photographing fun awesome families like yours!

The best photos i have taken of my own family have been those little moments that don’t necessarily seem significant at the time, but trust me they end up being the photos i love to print and hang around the house

I'm renowned at putting people at ease, I’m super organised and I can turn my eyelids inside out (that last part may not be overly useful but might keep your kids entertained!) – but most importantly I capture you and your family at those moments in time, simply being wonderful.

Leading up to your shoot we will connect, to work out what is truly important to you and your family, what you like doing, what you want to remember yourselves doing in years to come.

Why should I choose a lifestyle family photographer over a studio family photographer?

I specialise in Lifestyle family photography, which means that we are able to capture special moments in an environment that feels comfortable and meaningful for you as a family.

It’s not about taking an aligned photo of a pristine family, lying down looking at the camera in front of a white background all with their chins resting on their hands thinking ‘this is uncomfortable!’ It’s not about dressing them up in your Sunday best that they hate wearing and have to literally ‘grin and bear it’, it’s about capturing the real, honest, true wonder that is YOUR FAMILY.

How to book your kent family photographs:

Love this style of photography for your family? Great! I love it too! The initial cost for the shoot is £150 with a choice of wall art and packages to buy after. I cover the Kent county but happy to travel to essex, london and surrey

Step 1 - Just get in contact

Step 2 - Your family session

My sessions are pretty casual and relaxed, running for about an hour. I will get a range of photos of you with your kids, the kids by themselves, and you and your partner. Then I pretty much let the kids be themselves. Nothing is forced, I will reach out in advance to see what you want to have captured about your family at this moment in time.

Step 3 - After your session

I love the editing and curating part after a family shoot - seeing up close what antics the kids got up to, so your final pics are generally delivered in around 2-3 weeks displayed in a beautiful online gallery for you to be able to pick your favourites for purchase.

What does the session fee include?

• Session fee is £150
  1-2 hrs (2 hrs max) of photography

• Choice of morning, afternoon or evening session

• Up to 6 people included (additional cost for bigger parties)

• Travel (within 90 mins) from Trott headquarters

• Choice of photo packages from my price list see below for my pricing guide

• All the preparation, shooting, post production and creation of the gallery.

How are you going to enjoy your photos?

Take a minute - have a look on your phone, how many photos have you got on there? How often do you see them? How do you re-live those moments time and time again? I am a huge tech head, I love everything digital - but the reality is unless you have it printed, you just don’t “see” the photos. It’s why in any consultation I’ll ask you about this and what your plan is.

After the shoot, your online gallery will guide you through all your purchase options from digital only purchases to Bespoke Wall art to Reportage albums or collections that combine all. All my products are high-quality offerings and any framed element is bespoke to your needs and all albums are hand designed by me. The average spend for my families is £900 - £1500
