Welcome to Naomi and Carlos’ wedding at Oak Tree Barn. It was my first time shooting at oak tree barn and it did not disappoint - what a cool vibe this place has. For an October wedding we had just the best light all day - it felt like a early warm summer, all day, everyone was outside, the sun was low and it looked like golden hour all day - it was perfect all day long

The prep:

Oak tree barn has a in built salon on site (run by the lovely Jessica Simpson Studios ) which is amazing to have on site, it’s bright and there are lots of chairs and mirrors so you and your bridesmaids can all utilise at the same time. The rest of the prep took place in the beautiful house that was on site which is perfect as a base camp for everyone else

The church ceremony

There were some absolutely beautiful moments during the ceremony - The kids were absolutely incredible through the service. Lenham church is a stunning church.

Penshurst church: The confetti walk

If you are having a church wedding I always suggest we do confetti straight after the ceremony - no-one has wandered meaning it’s a great opportunity to get as many guests as possible involved. It’s also a great opportunity for a group photo - i have a drone so i can do it pretty much anywhere

the light was simply gorgeous - and there were so many spots around the venue to capture gorgeous photos of the couple - it’s truly unique for that reason.
